This is a recreation area of Munich, and comes under the auspices of Kreisjugendring Munich City. It aims to provide regional and public employment for juveniles in the Hasenbergl district of Munich.

The green spaces between apartment blocks are not particularly attractive. The adventure playground offers children a place where they can develop their personalities within a social framework. Children should have the opportunity to spend their free time purposefully. By encouraging them to participate in sports activities, they develop greater fitness and balance.

Particularly important to ABIX is the sense of togetherness. By meeting friends from various backgrounds, cultures and mentalities, the children develop a broad level of understanding. At the Adventure Playground children use a common language and follow common rules which they themselves have initiated.
